This Privacy Policy explains how Idlery (“Idlery,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use the Idlery mobile application and related services (the “Service”).

1. Information We Collect

A) Information you provide

• Account information: name, email address, username, profile photo, password (stored/handled by our auth provider, not in plaintext).
• Shop information (if you create a shop): business name, profile details, services, pricing, photos/videos.
• Communications: messages and support requests you send through the Service.
• Content: any content you post/upload (images, videos, text), if enabled.

B) Information collected automatically

• Device and app data: device type, OS version, app version, language, crash logs, diagnostics.
• Usage data: screens visited, features used, actions taken (e.g., opening a shop, initiating a checkout), and timestamps.
• Identifiers: IDs used by our analytics/auth providers (e.g., Firebase instance IDs).

C) Location information (optional)

If you choose to provide a location for your profile/shop, we may store the location you provide. If the app requests location permissions, we will present a permission prompt and you can deny it.

D) Payment information (if payments are enabled)

Payments may be processed by a third-party payment processor (e.g., Stripe). We do not store full payment card numbers. The processor may collect payment method details and transaction metadata.

2. How We Use Information

We use information to:

• Provide and operate the Service (account creation, authentication, marketplace features).
• Enable transactions and related customer support.
• Personalize content and improve user experience.
• Maintain security, prevent fraud, and enforce our Terms.
• Comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests.
• Communicate with you (service emails, support responses, important notices).

3. How We Share Information

We may share information:

• With service providers who help operate the Service (hosting, databases, analytics, messaging, email delivery).
• With payment processors to process payments and manage disputes/chargebacks.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Third-Party Services

The Service may use third-party services such as Firebase (authentication, analytics, databases), Stripe (payments), map/location providers, and messaging/notification providers. These services may collect information as described in their own policies.

We retain information as long as necessary to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. If you delete your account, we may retain limited information for legal, security, and fraud-prevention purposes.

7. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

The Service is not intended for children under 13. If we learn we collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete it.

Your information may be processed in countries other than where you live. We take steps designed to ensure appropriate safeguards where required.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We may provide notice in-app for material changes. Continued use of the Service after updates means you accept the updated policy.
